UPDATE: 13 September 2009

We finally made the trip to the Royal Papua Yacht Club on Sunday to check out the items on display and to tell you the truth, it was.....UNBELIEVABLE!

Papua New Guinea artists are so creative in the way they depict their culture into their paintings. All regions seem to have been represented on the paintings on display and anyone who bought an item there got their moneys worth.

The Royal Papua Yacht Club is proud to present the 7th Luk Save Art Show.

This is an unique opportunity to to view and purchase some of the finest work from the exciting world of contemporary Papua New Guinea Art.

This year features over 200 paintings presented by more than 50 artists from across the country. The Show includes works from current art students and self taught artists to PNG's most senior and world renowned artists.

It is a unique opportunity to enjoy and indulge in the finest work that this country's artisans are producing and is gaining in international interest.

Saturday, 12 September 2009 - Opening Cocktail Function. Ticket only and commences at 7pm

Sunday, 13 September 2009 - Exhibition for members and invited guests. Commences 8am to 3pm
