Amity Crew wins PNG's Got Talent
15 November 2009 I Lamana Hotel
What a night on Saturday at The Arena with the Arena packed with screaming fans as six groups took the floor for the major prize of K10,000.
Creed Crew the winners of the Digicel Urban Bounce competition this year were once again in the hunt to add another prize to their winnings.
Despite how hard the dancers tried and how supportive the crowd was, the night belonged to the red slick crew called Amity Crew. Dressed in red once again they were hotter then last week!

First on the floor was Creed Crew and despite their little man trying to move his hips as fast as he could it wasn't enough. They ended up on third place.
X-Plode were next up and despite some flexible moves, they didn't quite explode enough and missed out in the top three placings. Their members showed little enthusiasm which may have been a result of a stage fright or something.
Tribal Breakers did the unexpected. Dressed in some traditional costumes and dancing to a techno beat signs were on the wall that something unexpected was going to happen. And unexpect and unusual it was as they turned their routine to a solo ballet dance which probably wasn't the right time. The audience wasn't as excited as their earlier and more quicker routine. But still, they went back to their best with the flips, the turns and the hand stands and they just missed out to Amity Crew.
Crazy Bounce in a flip move
Izzy Bounce and Crazy Bounce had entertaining routines and the crowd was behind them. Maybe their dances were similar to the previous ones they did which made them a little predictable and obviously counted against them.
But again, dressed in red to 'kill', Amity Crew came in numbers both on and off the dance floor. Their routine was powerful and the enthusiasm, flexibility and creativity made them stand out against the rest.
Unlike many of their opponents, they dressed consistently and performed consistently and this would have been a major factor which led them to grabbing the biggest prize.

Amity Crew in action.
It has been a very entertaining few weeks at The Arena and it has been worth it. It's been highly entertaining with young kids showcasing their talent and we can expect that 2010 to get bigger.
Congratulations to Amity Crew and a big thank you to the organisers of the PNG's Got Talent competition because it has been a very very entertaining event.
